If you’re like most people, you can’t help but think that there may be some significant “meaning” behind many of our current events.  Devastating weather, war, financial crisis and other events make even the most oblivious among us think a bit about what the heck is going on.  As you read this blog, you’ll start to understand that there is a reason for the things that are now taking place.  There are also consequences for the actions we choose to take in response to them and in our every day lives.  But there are some BIG changes waiting to happen… Soon.  Indeed we’ve seen some strange events in the last few years.  If you think that things are a bit tumultuous now, fasten your seatbelt.  There’s much, much more ahead.  This site is about those changes, and what we need to know and do RIGHT NOW.

Before we get too deep, I’d like to make something very clear:  There’s a very good chance that nothing in this blog was inspired by an all knowing deity. I’ve never had a “vision” or heard a “voice”.  However, I believe the things I’ve written. And over the last bunch of years, my perspective on life has changed. I have lived my life very differently since experiencing that change.

For the last few years I’ve been focused on a somewhat troubling subject - the end of the world.  Actually, the end of existence.  Nostradamus, the Mayans, December 21, 2012… these subjects scared me.  But being scared or anxious serves no purpose.  As you read this blog you’ll better understand what that means.

If you think about it, it’s easy to see that everything any of us needs already exists.  I’m not talking about iPods and bling bling.  I’m talking about food.  Shelter.  Social interaction.  Love.  They already exist, and always have.  But somewhere along the path of existence life became a competition to see who could get more things than the next guy. People started inventing ways to get money, power of influence from you.  And people started to develop a thought process that defended the defending of these things at any price.  War, the worst of these justifications, became acceptable.

Even today you can find preachers as well as prisoners defending their right to defend their money.  It’s sad.  And the way things are headed, it will never change. But there are consequences for deciding to live this way, and we’ll get to them.  But first, back to the original subject of this post… WHY are these things happening!

To answer this question, it is necessary to understand a few things.  First, consider a few scientific facts.  We know that the universe, which includes everything KNOWN to exist, is expanding.  Scientists also believe that it has been expanding forever.  So if we reverse that process and shrink it back to the beginning of time, the very beginning of existence, we can logically arrive at a point when the universe was nothing more than “nothing”.  Smaller than the smallest atom.  Pure potential, just waiting to happen.

If that’s true, then everything in existence would have to have the same origin.  There certainly weren’t little packages of mammals or atmosphere kits just waiting for someone to add water so they could burst into reality.  Everything would have to be born of the same potentiality which means that everything in existence is merely some form of the same thing.  And that is true.

Everything we experience, see, eat, touch, think, grow etc. is simply some form of the same thing — ENERGY.  You might want to disagree at this point, but you’re not allowed to because it’s already been proved.  Einstein showed us that E=MC² which means that energy is matter times the speed of light squared.  If you know algebra, you can very simply re-state the formula to show that M=E/C² or matter equals energy divided by the speed of light squared.

Whether that makes sense, or whether you flunked algebra is not important.  What is important is this - All matter is a form of energy.  Everything in existence is some form of the same stuff - energy.  The difference between the different forms of energy we experience is simply a matter of degree.  Water, ice and steam are all made of the same EXACT thing but with different effects on those who experience them.  Some good, some bad.  The same holds true for energy.  There is good energy and there is bad energy.

Love is the purest expression of good energy.  Hate is the purest expression of bad energy, and by “purest” I mean the most concentrated, undiluted form which can not be broken down into any other form.  Love has made mankind think in ways that inspired him to do things he would never have otherwise done.  Hate has had the same effect, but in a negative way.  Different forms of the same thing.  Different results.

Very soon, every human being will have to make a decision which will affect all future “existence”. This “decision” is very simply a choice which has been discussed many, many times by people far more intelligent than me.  It has been preached about for thousands of years using such terms as the “final days”, the “Apocalypse”, “Armageddon” or “the end of the world”. Whatever you call it, it’s coming.  What you decide to do NOW and how you act will have HUGE consequences - not just for you, but for everyone.  Here’s why…

If you subscribe to the philosophy of a particular religion, chances are you’ve been told about some person or persons who have been trying to tell us why we exist and what we have to look forward to after we die.  Which one you believe basically determines which religion you belong to.  If we remove the characters from each religion, the message is often the same.  Different forms of the same thing.  Different people interpreting the same things in different ways.  Often, it’s the small stuff which differs - what days are holy, who are the most important figures, what rituals do we need to perform to secure salvation.  But the main message is very often the same.  Treat each other with love, kindness and compassion - always - and we will experience heaven right here, right now.

Interestingly, most people ignore the main message, and focus on the smaller differences.  “I’m better than you because I observe (religious holyday) on a regular basis.”  “I am saved and you’re not because I am a believer of (some prophet, savior or founder).”  Meanwhile we live our lives ignoring the reality of the real message that each of those prophets, saviors and founders were trying to teach us - Treat each other with love, kindness and compassion - always - and we will experience heaven right here, right now.  In fact we often do the exact opposite, ignoring the needs of the less fortunate, competing with our neighbors for the sole purpose of feeding our own egos, judging others negatively, rationalizing our unethical or immoral behavior and on and on and on.  We pat ourselves on the back and say “I believe!  That’s all I need to do!  I am saved!”

Guess what?  You’re wrong.

That philosophy is based on an “interpretation” of something which was “said” thousands of years ago.  Many times the interpretation first had to be translated, which also required a certain degree of judgment before even trying to interpret what was meant. This process of interpreting and translating took place dozens of times in each religion, passed down orally from generation to generation before ever being written.  Each successive generation put their own interpretation into it before passing it on.  The end result was that we found ways to argue about what each phrase, rule or law meant and so we completely lost touch with the main message - treat each other with love, kindness and compassion.  We actually treat each other BADLY if we don’t subscribe to the same set of rules!

The time has come for all of us to remember the main message.  The time has come for all of us to make a decision.  The time has come for every man,  woman and child to exercise free will and choose pure positive energy, or pure negative energy.  We were created for this purpose - to not just choose, but to CREATE… love!

By “LOVE” I am referring to the energy of love. It is a real, tangible force which fills all existence – from the cells in our bodies to the galaxy as a whole. It is pure energy - the most powerful form of energy and it has been the invisible force behind every miracle, every answered prayer and every good deed and positive outcome ever performed or experienced.  In the right environment, it knows no limit. No miracle is without its’ influence and no catastrophe – even the end of the world – is beyond its’ intervention. That’s the good news.

The problem we face now is that we humans, while experiencing a previously unimaginable level of technology and potential, have created a consciousness focused almost exclusively on material gain without regard for the impact on fellow man, his environment or the energy of love. The consequence is simple. Existence will not exist without a deliberate decision by mankind as a whole to propagate love.

Soon we will see this spiritual battle unfold, in fact it has started already. This final battle of good versus evil is a spiritual battle in which the only possible positive outcome depends on the decision of mankind to exist in an environment of love. That love must be created – literally – by all of us.

We have the ability to manufacture the energy of love from within ourselves.  This process can be as simple as treating each other with love, kindness and compassion.   Doing so will elicit a like response in the recipient, much like treating someone badly often results in a negative response from the recipient.  It is imperative that we remember or quickly learn how to do it. Our own survival and the survival of all existence depends upon it.

Your decision to participate in the transformation has far greater consequences than you realize. If you “win”, we all win.  If you “lose” we collectively start over again. Existence ceases to be. Energy redefines itself and starts over, with a new design, building on the experiences of the past. Millions of years of progress will be annihilated, transformed into non-existence because of the path we collectively chose.  The key to this process is to always think, feel and act in a spirit of love.  There can be no “fighting” back.

Fighting ANYTHING is a negative action creating more negativity.  You can’t fight corporate greed, drugs, terrorism or anything else.  You have to LOVE them out of existence.  This is counterintuitive, I know, but think about it.  If, for example, terrorism is the product of negative thoughts, teachings, emotions and ENERGY, fighting it is simply adding more negative energy to the pot.  Fighting a negative event doesn’t help eliminate it, it only serves to FUEL it.

You can’t stop a fire by burning it.  The same holds true for any negative event.  It is simply impossible to eliminate negativity with negative actions.  A lot of people just don’t get this.  I hope you do.  It’s important.  In fact, it’s the MOST important thing to “get” right now.

Things are happening so fast. It’s more important now than it ever has been to create positive energy and change the negative energy swirling around the world. People have a hard time making connections between events, but so many events are connected.

In 2001 we experienced the World Trade Center tragedy. Since that time, as more and more people became terrified and thought negative thoughts, more and more negative things have started to happen. It has always been and continues to be my contention that none of this is accidental. It is by design. Awareness of that fact and consciously making an effort to change the negative energy associated with war, financial collapse, H1N1, etc. is the only thing which will help to reverse the process we are now enduring.

It takes a lot of people and a lot of cooperation to create such widespread negativity. Maybe you have contributed to it. Maybe you have helped spread the negativity. I know some readers have, and if you are one of them, it’s time for you to change. Here’s a little secret for you. The consequences of the creation and promotion of negative energy are well known by certain groups. There is a frantic effort within these groups to accumulate the means to leave the destruction behind. They are barring no holds as they desperately try to achieve a means to leave it all behind. What does “leave it all behind” mean? Honestly I don’t know. Perhaps they think that leaving earth and colonizing some far away planet will help them. It won’t.

The basic problem with their plans is that they involve dealing with the situation in a manner consistent with how they have always dealt with every situation - turning to the available knowledge and the world as we know it for their solution. While their solution does exist within the realm of their available knowledge, it requires a shift in energy they are incapable of accomplishing. The shift requires a change in their world. One in which the negative things that have helped them accumulate the means to “escape” the situation can no longer exist. And therein lies the problem. They’d rather roll the dice than give up what they think they have. If you’ve aided the promotion of this negativity, you need to understand that there is no benefit for you. Maybe you’ve received financial compensation. Maybe you’ve been given promises. The financial compensation will be worthless when the change takes place. The promises will be broken at best because they can’t be granted. You really need to change, and you really need to do it now. You are going to be left on the losing end of things.

I’ve stated in other posts that if we lose, we all lose, and if we win, we all win. That deserves a bit more explanation. If we lose this battle of energy, everything changes. We all experience the change. We all see the world as we know it disappear, gone forever. We lose it. If we win, the world changes significantly as the predominant, and possibly the only energy in existence becomes positive. Either way, the world is going to change. If we lose, will the change be better or worse than existing conditions? We will all lose existence as we currently understand it. The most obvious emotion resulting from the thought of losing existence as we know it is fear. What we don’t know always scares us. But, honestly, the system is designed to progress. The whole reason for changing the nature of existence is to progress beyond where we currently are.

Throughout all of existence there is ample evidence of a force which exists in a condition which is far superior to the greatest man or woman. This force turns an acorn into a giant oak tree. It changes a tadpole into a frog. It keeps the planets aligned and provides conditions acceptable for millions of different forms of life. It even provides mankind the ability to reason and choose. This same force has provided countless forms of existence with the means necessary to adapt to their environment. I believe that changing the very nature of existence is but one more step in this process of progress. Progress always means change. It always means change for the better. In that thought there is hope, so think it.

If there’s one thing I’ve learned over the past few months it’s that it’s not always easy to practice what you preach.  By that I mean that I’ve had some life altering events take place and I found myself struggling to create positive energy.  The result of that of course is more of the same.

One thing scientists know for sure is that energy can not be destroyed.  In fact, technically it can’t be created either.  It can only change form.  When you light a match, the energy which IS the match is changed from its present form of the MATCH into heat, light and various by products we call ashes.  All of the energy which once existed in the form of a match still exists in various other forms.  The same holds true for situations.

When you are in the middle of a negative situation, it’s important to remember that the energy of that situation can either increase - by the thoughts we create about it - or it can change form, also by the thoughts we create.  Remember that thoughts are also energy.  They are the catalyst used to change a negative situation into a positive one - or at the very least they can change the situation into a non-issue.

We see this all the time.  We just don’t make the connection.  And sometimes, even when we do make the connection, we feel overwhelmed by the negative energy of the situation to make the necessary effort required to change it.  Believe it or not, that’s because of the way we are thinking and when we change WHAT we are thinking, we change the energy of the situation.

Sounds like a catch 22, I know.  Just know this:

1.  You have the power and the ability to decide what you think
2.  What you think will determine the nature of the energy you create
3.  The energy you create will either add to the negativity of the existing situation, or it will change the swirl of negativity into another form

So exercise your natural ability to control the nature of the circumstances and events surrounding your life.  Your positive outlook, attitude,thoughts, whatever you want to call it will change the form of that negativity and change your world.

There’s a lot of negative energy floating around lately.  People are doing incredibly stupid things for the sake of money.  The more desperate people become it seems there are increasing numbers of others waiting to take advantage of them.  As an example, “showmen” from the “religious entertainment” industry are all over the TV trying to get at your wallet.  Politicians and (some) CEOs are taking advantage of this unusual mood to dig their fingers deeper into your paycheck.  My advice has always been to turn off the TV, dig out that monopoly board and have some good old fashioned fun with those you are close to… but a lot of folks can’t bring themselves to do that.  They have to obsess over every bit of bad news.  They sink deeper and deeper inside themselves and become desperate.  This sets the stage for anyone inclined to offer hope, which of course only adds to the mood when things don’t change. I encourage you to put away your checkbook if you’re reacting out of desperation.  But if you want to do something nice - and you should - find a family who needs a gallon of milk, a dozen eggs or a winter coat.  You’ll create more positive energy that way than you will by blindly sending a check to some “showman”.

Think about that.  How must an individual think, act and live their life if he or she is willing to look you square in the eye and take your last desperate dollar?  Methinks they just don’t get it.  In the middle of this financial crisis more time was spent negotiating which politicians will get what amount of money in their districts than whether or not the idea was valid and good.  And in retrospect we see what some businesses have done with our money.  Do they just not get it?

It doesn’t have to matter.  But something does have to happen.  People have to think differently.  Act differently.  BE different than we have been.  And we have to start now.  Our politicians and business leaders need to act from a real sense of duty, not a sense of entitlement.  Imagine a world in which all the politicians and business leaders were selfless and took action based on the best result for everyone, with no regard for money or profit or self.  I mean REALLY imagine it.

Some people will say that such a world is impractical…  impossible.  Think again.  I mean, THINK AGAIN, this time differently.  Not only is it possible, it’s the ONLY possible result for our future.  If you are a politician, and you’re reading this, ask yourself a question: What would I do if money was suddenly worthless and the net sum of all my positive and negative actions was my compensation from now on?  Would you think differently?  Would you act differently?  Would you be foolish?

The history of the world has seen a lot of change.  Believe it or not, much of it is for the better.  We are at a fork in the forest of existence.  We need to decide which path to take.  But there’s a storm brewing and only one path is safe.  Don’t worry - we know which one it is.  But to take this path means CHANGE for you.  It means leaving everything in the forest and doing things differently.  It means that no one will be your servant, yet ironically everyone will serve you.  It means that you will have nothing, yet everything will be yours.  It means you will be more concerned about your neighbors than your own family.

If you take the second path, you can keep everything you have.  Your possessions, your status.  But you have been informed that no one has ever reached the end of this path.  It seems to go on forever.  Of course, you don’t know this for sure, but the storm seems to be hovering right over it.  In theory, the possibility of you making it through exists, but again you don’t know for sure.  It would be a great gamble, risking your life and the lives of your family members, but it seems remotely possible that you could make it.

Which path will you take?  I’m not talking about a social structure like communism or democracy.  I’m talking about a way of thinking, acting and BEING!

Do you give everything up?  Do you keep everything you have?

We all need to decide what is important to us. And our world will change accordingly.  We need selfless politicians and conscientious businessmen.  We need involved people who can see the goodness all around them - not the negativity - and recreate that goodness for everyone else.  We need people willing to help change the way people think by changing the way they themselves think.  We need to surround our world with the energy of love and make things good for everyone.

We are all capable of creating Love, goodness and happiness.  It doesn’t cost anything!  You don’t have to join a club.  You just have to know that there are millions of people who also think, feel and believe this. And ignore any negativity.

You’ll be told you can’t do that - that these things need to be addressed!  You’ll hear “We must stamp out evil!”

Well, we’ve been doing that for a very long time.  Which path will you take?

My last post involved the idea that plans for a larger, more violent racial divide are actively being implemented.  My suggestion was to avoid reacting to negative news, statements, etc. designed to incite racism, however subtly.  Note:   The word SUBTLE is key.  These events will all be very subtle at first, slowly agitating the masses until they reach a breaking point.  The financial crisis is a part of that process.  Who would suspect that it was actually designed to promote bigotry, hatred and violence?  I believe it was.  And I believe we will see many more such events with the same intent.

Let me ask you a question.  If you are White, and you just lost your job, are 4 months behind in your mortgage, are contemplating bankruptcy and are having trouble feeding your family, how would you react if a bill was passed to compensate all Black Americans with $100,000 as retribution for slavery?  Would it anger you?  Would you start to despise Blacks - good or bad - for that reason alone?  What if you are Black.  How would you react.  Would you defend the attempt with your eyes fixed on a nice chunk of money and view opposing Whites as bigots?  Now I don’t suppose anything as blatant as this would occur, but what about a number of less obvious attempts.  Who do you think would lose in the long run.  The answer is - all of us.

I believe that attempts to create this type of negativity are already in the works.  I believe we will see things designed to subtly and slowly create the “perfect” environment to promote bigotry and hate, in fact we have already seen a few over many years.  These will increase in number and intensity until the goal of a race war is achieved.  So what do we do?

First, understand that knowledge is power.  Knowing and understanding is the key to thwarting this effort.  By that I mean that all races need to understand that we are all being used to accomplish this goal, and we all will lose in the end if it is successful.  The whole financial bubble was designed to make people not care about everyone else.  As long as my stock portfolio increased and my football team won, life was good.  Who cared about the other guy?  And so many of us adopted that attitude , became self righteous and even indignant at those who had less.  We felt entitled, better, deserving and we saw those without as undeserving, even bad.

Some folks even used the Bible to justify their perspective foolishly promoting that God is rewarding them because He found favor with them and the less fortunate offended Him.  This of course ignores the many teachings to the contrary in the Bible and turns a blind eye to the many financially successful thieves, murderers and “sinners”.  But soon the tables were turned on a large number of people.  And now they all - we all - need someone else to blame.  So the stage is set.

The first thing we need to do is understand that we’re all in this together.  Black, White, Asian, Latino…  we’re all being maneuvered.  And if you’re actively seeking someone to blame for your current situation you’ll find them,  soon.  The only way to overcome this, in my opinion, is to work together.  Step back for a minute and think rationally.  Every race has good people and bad people as members.  Every PERSON basically wants the same things - security, happiness, love.  Don’t define people by the color of their skin.  Don’t separate them into groups of “Black”, “White”, “Asian” or “Latino”.  Instead separate them into groups of “Good” or “Bad” without regard to the color of their skin.  This is important, and if you are considered a minority, you may think you already see your fellow men that way.  But what would you say to that offer I mentioned above - the $100,000 retribution payment?  What would you say even if you knew you were being used to help create a racial divide and that in the end, that money would be useless to you? Would you still find a way to justify it?

Don’t.  The key to overcoming this problem is to work together.  Don’t be corrupted by the money, the offers, the status or whatever you are offered  Do the right thing for the right reason and don’t allow yourself to make excuses.  Don’t see the color of a person, see their soul instead.  Work WITH them to create love and happiness and never ever do anything that will work against that objective.  Mark my words.  You’ll have opportunity.  And some of the opportunities will be hard to resist.  Keep focused.

The world is full of people who compromised their values and perspectives for money.  I’d venture to guess that each of them has had to adjust their perspective over and over again in order to help promote the negativity which we are currently experiencing.  Don’t become one.  You’re better than that.

Make love [energy], not war…

Yesterday we welcomed a new President here in the United States.  I don’t envy him as the hopes of millions of Americans have been trumped up with the idea that he will “fix” everything.  I hope he does.   But as I watched some of the inauguration, I saw what seems to be a continuation of the the deliberate attempt to cause a divide between us - humans, the “races”.

No doubt there are a lot of bigoted people in the world especially with regard to race and religion.  Bigots come in all flavors - Black, White, Asian, Latino -each of our communities has it’s share of bigots.  And it’s displayed in various ways.  Some are more outspoken than others like white supremacists such as Aryan Brotherhood, Ku Klux Klan and Church of Jesus Christ–Christian and black supremacists like Nation of Islam, New Black Panther Party and United Nuwaubian Nation of Moors.  Some are more subtle like the feeling some whites might get when they see a black man with a white woman, or the persistent thought of some blacks that everything white people do and think is designed to keep the black man down.  This particular form of bigotry is, in my opinion, the more dangerous than the more obvious forms.  For the most part, we can identify gross acts of bigotry and racism, and most people find such acts unacceptable.  But how many of us have had the more subtle type of thoughts and feelings?  I’d bet a lot of us have, on both sides of the argument.

My earlier posts talk a lot about energy, love and spiritual battle.  Creating positive love energy is our primary responsibility.  That is my belief, my philosophy and one of the main reasons for this blog.  But not everyone agrees.

Some people have taken a contradictory stand on the subject.  They have aligned with negative energy and have committed themselves to a vision of dominance, power, ego and material wealth.  Some intentionally.  But most people don’t fall into the “intentionally” category.  Most have just been manipulated into thinking there’s something in it for them.  But there isn’t.

The very few at the top of this hierarchy have a very different plan in mind.  It’s an old plan.  It’s well thought out.  And it seems to be working.  Really, the designer of the plan is a genius, infiltrating our schools and churches, governments, libraries, entertainment and by consequence our thoughts.  The good news is that once you’re aware that the plan exists, it becomes painfully obvious.  You start to see how the thoughts and feelings of our nation, our communities, families and friends are influenced, however subtly, to cause conflict.  To create negativity.  To slowly raise the temperature until things start to  boil.

During yesterday’s inauguration, we heard Rev. Joseph Lowery say something like ‘Lord, in the memory of all the saints who from their labors rest, and in the joy of a new beginning, we ask you to help us work for that day when black will not be asked to give back, when brown can stick around, when yellow will be mellow when the red man can get ahead, man and when white will embrace what is right.’  Immediately there was reaction.  From one perspective we were told that the words were insulting to whites, they were bigoted, racist and whites elected Mr. Obama.  From another perspective we were told that we need to understand that these words came from an old man who stood shoulder to shoulder with Dr. Martin Luther King then watched as he was murdered.

From my perspective, we have a different choice to make.  We can let the words fill us with negativity, or not.  That is the point of this post.  As President Obama progresses through his presidency, we will see more and more situations which require us to make a decision about how to react.  These will not be created by President Obama, but by subtle bigots expecting him to “do” something to them or for them.  This will create an opportunity for other subtle bigots to focus on the comments of a few and create large scale negativity from it.  We will see more and more opportunities to deepen and widen the racial divide which has no acceptable reason to exist in the first place.  We will see more and more events, speeches, articles and opinions which will allow us to succumb to the subtle invasion of our existence known as evil, or not.  It’s really up to YOU.

We are seen as pawns.  We are being positioned.  Maneuvered.  Used.  Distracted.  Angered, subtly, for the purpose of engaging this spiritual battle.  We can’t fight our way out of it.  If we try, we lose - that’s the genius of it.  But there is hope.  There is an answer.  There is an effective solution to the problem of the “battle” that is even more genius than the genius who caused all this friction.  It’s called love.

Now you may be sick of hearing that.  But love, together with knowledge, is the only solution.  It is the only defense.  And while it was so very clever to make us perceive that we must stand up and fight back, which paradoxically strengthens and builds the level of negative energy - and causes us lose this battle - the solution is even more clever because we don’t have to do anything.  The most powerful weapon ever devised in rendered useless by doing nothing!

By “nothing” I mean refusing to react negatively, refusing to fight, refusing to get angered or to hate or to lash out.  If there is no fight, there can be  no war.  Instead, if we spend our energy creating hope and good will, helping solve problems, helping each other… we will see the slow retreat of negativity and the emergence of a new day, complete with a bright sun, chirping birds and happy people.

That goes for you, me and everyone else including Rev. Lowery.  The time has come for all of us to rearrange our thoughts, our perceptions and the energy of the entire world.  There’s never been a better time!

As humans we tend to think of ourselves as superior to the other creatures of the earth.  Yet we’re the only ones who have invented this concept of a thing called “money” and continue to kill each other to accumulate it.  That’s not progress.

Recently the United States bailed out the banking system using billions of taxpayer’s dollars.  The news reported a couple of days ago that banks are not disclosing how the money has been used, but top executives have given themselves millions of dollars in bonuses.  This is disconcerting to a lot of people as they watch their own financial world collapse around them.  It’s not disturbing to me.  I almost feel sorry for them.  That’s because reality is changing.  It’s changing fast, right before your eyes.  The entire paradigm is changing, and men like the executives described above have no clue.

Money doesn’t mean anything unless we perceive it to have value.  Soon we will perceive it to have no value at all.  All the twisted backroom deals will be meaningless and the “good ole boy” chuckles and pats on the back will change to a more dire realization of how they’ve wasted an opportunity to do good, for the sake of greedy self gratification.   Reading this, they will laugh, thinking that these words represent exactly the kind of world they want to maintain - one in which “ignorant” people like you and I allow them to pillage as we stand by idly waiting to be elevated by some deity because WE lived the virtuous life and THEY angered our God.  Again they’re wrong.

This has nothing to do with any religion.  It has to do with a very real field of energy which has permeated our existence - all of existence - forever.  It has to do with the cause of all that energy and the change of that energy into something which we were given the opportunity to help create.  It also has to do with the energy created by people like those executives described above, by all the oppressors and takers throughout history, and the tendency of even “good” people to jump on the bandwagon screaming “gimme, gimme, gimme”.

Things are going to change.  We’ve been told about it throughout history.  We’ve been warned about it throughout history.  And this last bunch of bankers and politicians - who think they’ve out foxed the little guys - will soon find they live in a very different world than they thought.

The reality is, most people are smart enough to know they’ve been duped.  And when things continue to get “worse” they’ll react a  bit differently than they have so far.  But understand this: I am saying you don’t need to worry.  This is not a time to throw away your lifelong tendency toward creating positive energy and jump on that bandwagon.  That’s the thing you DON’T want to do.

Things will change as the energy of existence changes.  Your job as a human is simply to keep churning out that positive energy.  I know this sounds overly simplistic or naive, but think about this.  The slow change of our thoughts - the fundamental change in the way we think from an attitude of helping each other to an attitude of exploiting each other is the reason we are experiencing these problems in the first place.  Yes, there have always been the exploiters.   But there was also a large base of people who made it a point to always TRY to do the right thing.  That base has been eroding and now everyone wants to be the exploiter rather than risk being the exploited.   Not surprisingly, the decision by more and more people to be the exploiters has caused more and more people to be exploited.  How could it be otherwise?

It can’t.  And it’s simply a sign of the times in which we live.  More and more people will turn to their Bibles and religious texts in search the answer.  And they will find it.  It’s called love.  And soon, it will be a sign of the times.

Every once in a while I get inspired by a thought even though I had n plans to write anything.  The last few days I’ve had these nagging thoughts about the “Kingdom of Heaven”.  I felt inspired to write something.  So if you’ve been waiting for a blurb on this subject, congratulations!

If you are Christian, you have heard the story of the Garden of Eden, Paradise, and the Fall of Man.  In Christianity, this represents the event which caused us to lose Paradise - to be expelled from the “Kingdom” to fend for ourselves.  We apparently offended God and were sentenced to suffer the consequences.

Jesus talked a lot about the “Kingdom of Heaven”.  In the “Kingdom of Heaven” whatever we wanted we received without thinking about it.  There was no such thing as doubt as our only experience was knowing that we would always receive whatever we want or need.  Having such faith and trust in the outcome guaranteed the outcome – believing produced the thing we believed we would obtain.

When that changed - for whatever reason - we experienced doubt.   This doubt meant that we didn’t trust.  Consequently we caused a lack of receiving because trust and belief are prerequisites to receiving.  The receiving has never changed.  But the lack of trust and belief necessary to effect whatever we want has interfered with the ability to experience this Kingdom of Heaven.  The Kingdom is achievable, now, anytime, collectively and individually by trusting, believing and knowing.

Jesus talks of this when he says that you need to be childlike in order to enter the Kingdom of Heaven, or the Reign of Heaven.  Childlike means unquestionably trusting and believing.  Go back to your childhood and think of Santa Claus or falling asleep when your Dad or Mom was driving through a dark rainy night.  Your experience had not yet caused you to doubt so you had no reason to fear.  Jesus also illustrates this figuratively when He says that it is difficult for a rich man to enter the Kingdom.  The more we have the more we fear losing and the harder to achieve the ability to trust and believe.

Detaching yourself from your “possessions” necessarily detaches you from the fear of losing them, the doubt of a bad decision, etc.  Same thing when your experiences consist of a large number of negative events.  You fear, stop trusting and stop believing.  This is all a paradox, because giving away the fear of losing everything, giving away the feeling that another negative event can/will occur causes you to trust and believe, and ultimately receive everything.

A condition of achieving this state of mind and of being is to clear your mind of any negative energy, any negative thoughts and emotions.  (And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.) This prepares you for a feeling of love.  It actually fills you and surrounds you with love so that you are literally IN love and love is IN you.  This creates the environment necessary for receiving anything and everything in a trusting believing way from the Creator of everything.

Jesus also said that many people will achieve the Kingdom of Heaven without experiencing death.  This tells us that our present condition is not unchangeable nor is a state of peace, love and happiness unattainable. To the contrary.  Everything we could want is RECEIVABLE in a state of love, trust, belief and acceptance.
So if you’re looking for a way.  If you’re trying to find peace, happiness, love and positive change, now you know where to look… inside.

Music is a magical form of energy.  It can penetrate us and influence huge numbers of people immediately.  It travels easily through other forms of energy - such as radio waves and satellite signals and transforms itself effortlessly.  It is so powerful that both sides of the hidden battle of energy utilize it - some more effectively than others.  We see the effects of this powerful form of energy at concerts or anywhere that impressionable people like teenagers gather.

Strong music by itself is enough to influence us significantly.  But even weak music with strong lyrics can have phenomenal effects on us.  Below is a great example of strong lyrics complimented by strong musical energy.  I know nothing of the composer or writer, but the words and melody are beautiful:

You may know by now that I like to pose questions, rather than sound as though I’m speaking with any kind of authority about a particular subject.  That’s because spirituality is a process.  Anyone who claims to have the inside scoop on how “God” set things up, or how “God” wants things to be, is in most need of learning.  I have found that the best way to learn, is to pray.

How meaningful do you think it is to recite a script someone else wrote repeatedly, day after day, year after year, without emotion, thought or feeling?  If you were God, would you rather meaningless repetition of “prayers” without feeling, emotion or thought, or the honest and open communication of someone you love, trusting you with their cares, their follies, failures and successes while sending you their love and gratitude for the things you’ve given them?   I think the answer is obvious.  Why then do so many of us opt for the script?  Why do we recite this or that script for “X” number of days in order to receive some miracle or benefit?  The answer I think is hidden in the fact that none of us really knows for a fact anything about spirituality, God or salvation.  That’s why we’re willing to give hundreds and thousands of dollars to anyone who purports to be in the know.  That’s also why praying isn’t always as effective as it can be.

Praying is simply talking to what we call “God”, the perfect love energy which created everything.  This statement sometimes offends members of certain religions.  They resent that I would label God as energy.  But isn’t that really what God is?  God certainly isn’t a person.  God isn’t another form of created life.  God is the force that created everything and many religions tell us that God created us “in His image”.  We already know that everything is made of energy, including us.  You get the picture.  The point is, God MUST be energy because this stuff we call energy is all there is.  This isn’t a bad thing.  It isn’t a form of desecration.  It’s simply acknowledging that God is a much more powerful form of the same stuff everything else is made of.  In fact, I would argue that this is a good thing.

Prayer is a form of communicating with this energy called God.  The quality of our feelings, thoughts and emotions during this communication is the main determining factor in whether or not the prayer will be successful.  In other words, trusting and believing is critical to receiving a positive outcome of your prayer.  Those “miracle workers” who ask God FOR you and help heal you or a loved one etc. are simply creating that necessary level of trust and belief in you. It is actually YOU, not them who are doing it.  That being said, there is a legitimate benefit in that they are able to get you to have the necessary faith to obtain the results of your prayer.  If you were able to muster the same faith you would not need anyone to do  it for you.

Without getting into a huge discussion, I will just say that the reason for our inability to have enough faith is centered around our belief that we are not WORTHY of a miracle or an answered prayer.  We find it easier to believe that someone else, someone more “good” than us will be able to effect a more positive result than us.  We often qualify our prayers with statements such as “If you [grant this prayer] I will [do some good deed]” e.g. “If you let me win the lottery I will give half of it to charity” or “If you keep me out of jail I will spend the rest of my life caring for the sick.”  We don’t feel worthy in our present condition so we offer to change ourselves in order to become worthy.

This is where our journey begins, because this is the whole point of existence as we know it.   When we live our lives creating love and helping others do the same, we become “worthy”.  Once we’re worthy, we can have the necessary faith and trust in our God to make our own miracles.  Now here’s the secret:  you don’t have to become “worthy” because you already are.  You just need to KNOW it.  My upbringing was Christian.  In our Bible Jesus tells us that we can cast a mountain into the sea if we have the faith of a mustard seed.  The key is FAITH.

Take a look a mustard seed.  It’s tiny.  It doesn’t really look like much.  But it is filled with the FAITH that it will someday become a plant, and so it does.  How does this little seed know enough to grow?  Nobody plugs it in.  It doesn’t get charged.  It doesn’t take batteries.  In fact, everything it needs is already provided i.e. faith, water and soil.   But unlike us, it doesn’t live in a world which insists that it CAN’T grow.  It isn’t filled with doubt or feelings of unworthiness.  It just is.  It just trusts.  And so it DOES.

Don’t pray in worry.  Don’t pray in doubtfulness.   Don’t pray in an spirit of unworthiness.  When you pray, pray with love.  Be grateful for all the things you have, all the things God has already provided for you.  And by all means pray with faith and trust.  Be the mustard seed - deserving, unquestioning and receptive to the miracle you seek.  Your prayers will become much less of a chore, and much more productive.  In addition, life will become one giant miracle and light and love will shine through your entire world.  The sun will come out - literally - and you’ll see everything from an entirely new perspective.  That’s powerful.  That’s prayer.
